When it comes to saving lives, every second counts. Paramedics play a critical role in delivering life-saving care to those in need, when it came to designing our JANY Ambulance+ Seat, who better to help us design it than the Paramedics themselves?
We took an extensive study into the daily routines and challenges faced by paramedics during their shifts. We closely examined their work processes and identified areas where we could make a difference in terms of speed and efficiency.
At Be-Ge Seating, our mission was clear: to create a seat that seamlessly integrated into the demanding environment of an ambulance, making the paramedics' job easier and ultimately enhancing patient care.
One of the most significant challenges we addressed was the need for a seat that could be stowed away quickly and easily when loading a stretcher into the ambulance. Equally important was the ability for the same seat to rapidly re-deploy to allow paramedics to sit safely and begin treating the patient.
To meet these requirements, we introduced several innovative features to our JANY Ambulance+ Seat. Our unique top-mounted lever-operated swivel mechanism enables paramedics to swiftly rotate the seat while standing, eliminating the need to bend down or complicated release levers. Additionally, our cinema seat base tip-up function smoothly moves the seat cushion out of the way with minimal effort and lightning speed rapidly re-deploys, ensuring that the paramedic can focus on their patient immediately.
Other features you will find on our Ambulance+ is seamless upholstery for infection control, ISOfix for carrying Child seats and seat belt warning for the safety of users. Being a Be-Ge product of course it meets the very latest CEN 1789 Standards and is tested to REG 14.07 the highest standard in M1 Seating.
