By meeting students at an early age, we can plant a seed, spark curiosity and show the wide range of professions and career paths within our industry. It is also an opportunity to show that these jobs exist right here in our region. Today’s industry is innovative, sustainable and increasingly high-tech and the skills needed are constantly evolving.

The technology and manufacturing sectors face significant recruitment needs in the years ahead. Meeting the next generation today is therefore an investment in tomorrow and in the future technicians, engineers, specialists and colleagues our industry will need.

A big thank you to Scania Oskarshamn and Lina for taking the initiative and making these important days possible, and to all participating schools, teachers and students for your curiosity, questions and great conversations.

Together, we can inspire more young people to discover the opportunities within industry and perhaps plant the seed for a future career.
